FORe UP 2013

The UP Alumni Association (UPAA) , in cooperation with the UP Barkada, invited UPAA Germany to participate in “FORe UP 2013”, a grand fund-raising campaign intended to benefit as many organizations in UP. Driven by the theme “Make it better FORe UP”, this campaign will culminate in the UP Open Golf Tournament to be held on November 8, 2013 at the Valley Golf and Country Club.
In a nutshell, this bold and ambitious campaign (a first in its kind) is intended to be a springboard for all invited UP organizations to launch their own individualized fund-raising campaign that will directly benefit their organization’s own advocacy. How is this possible? First of all, the UPAA & UP Barkada, in celebration of their 100th and 25th year respectively, will be shouldering 100% of all operating expenses of the tournament and no solicited funds will go to the tournament itself. Secondly, this tournament will be heavily publicized through channels that will reach as many UP alumni as possible. All participating organizations will be featured in “FORe UP’s “official website www.foreup.org . This exposure will enable each organization to reach out directly its alumni/past members and endear to them to their own advocacy/cause. The project has no joining fee and all fees solicited by each organization will go directly to their own advocacy. |
