Newlook for the UPAA Germany Webpage

UPAA Germany's new website has a new look and new features. In addition to the usual information pages about the organization, its projects, schedule of activities, contacts and links, a page exclusive for members is added to the site. Information that are relevant only for registered members are kept in a page with login access. In addition, the new website is set-up to encourage collaborative efforts among members. Project coordinators and members may be given access to their project webpage if they wish to edit and design their UPAA project webpage. This will lessen the burden of constantly updating website project pages by the Webteam. The new website is already functional for testing and comments since June 2013 but it was officially launched with the new features during the General Assembly on the 26th of October 2013.
The new website also has a new domain address www.upaagermany.org to replace the www.upaa.de which was used in the old website and has not been functional for quite sometime. The new domain also has the capacity to provide personalized webpages and alias email addresses to members. |
