Supporting the UP College of Nursing Delegates to the "Evidence Live 2013 Conference" at the University of Oxford
Two young alumnae from UP Manila College of
Nursing presented their research group study at the University of Oxford last March 25-26, 2013. Ms. Abigail Candelaria and Ms. Paula Isabel
Franco of Batch 2012 had a successful poster presentation of their
undergraduate study entitled “Endotracheal Suctioning Practices of Nurses in
Selected Charity Wards in a Tertiary Hospital in the Philippines” at the
"Evidence Live 2013 Conference" held at the University of Oxford. They were among 500
health care professionals, educators, journalists and businessmen who shared
knowledge and skills in evidence-based practice.
They were supported by the UP College of Nursing in cooperation with the UPAA-UK (College of Nursing co-alumni: Arnold Mendoza, Pau Velarde, Avic Mostajo) and the UPAA Germany (College of Public Health alumna: Dr. Jingky Lozano-Kühne).
