...through the UPAA Germany's Scholarship Fund!

The UPAA Germany e.V. Scholarship Fund aims to provide assistance to financially needy and deserving students of the University of the Philippines. Fifty-percent (50%) of the yearly UPAA Germany e.V. membership fees are allocated to the continuous Scholarship Project. Additional contributions to the fund are also received from projects, members and friends of UPAA Germany. The first fund raising for the scholarship fund was a benefit concert of the UPLB Choral Ensemble in Berlin organized by Dr. Jingky Lozano-Kühne. Raising enough amount to support at least one scholar took a while to accomplish. The organization awarded its first scholarship grant on the first semester of academic year 2018-2019. The grant prioritizes a campus and course recommended by the University of the Philippines - Office of Scholarships and Student Services with the least number of scholarship grants. The selection of scholar(s) and management of the scholarship fund are handled by the beneficiary campus. The cost of studying at the University of the Philippines can be accessed on this link.
