Educational Tour: the Federal chancellery in 2018
August 25 - 26, 2018 is the schedule of the "Open House" (Tag der Offenen Tür) of government offices in Berlin. Are you interested in visiting the Federal Chancellery in Berlin on August 25, 2018 (Saturday, 10am)? This is your chance to tour the interesting parts of the modern building, take a glimpse of its history and arts and have an overview of the work and activities of its offices.
During the "Open House", pre-registration is not necessary. However, one needs to line-up to enter the building. Before international and local tourists from different Bundesland arrive, it is better to be at the frontline early on August 25. Information in German can be accessed here. This is a "No-Guide Tour", but to have more fun during the visit, it would be advantageous to visit as a group. Important information for tour participants: Please take note of the attached security advice and map of the meeting point (Treffpunkt). Participants will meet at the meeting point (Treffpunkt) 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment. Please bring your passport or identity card (gültigen Lichtbildausweis). Avoid bringing bulky bags/luggages. Cameras and mobile phones are allowed. However, please keep them in silent mode. Security check in the Chancellery is similar to airport security check. Note: In addition to the Chancellery, other German Ministries in Berlin are also open to the public on August 25 and 26, 2018 (10:00 - 18:00). |
